A NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER AND GIVING

Because people without Jesus are LOST.
Because God has given us the mission of RECONCILING lost people to him.
Because the best place for people to encounter Jesus is in NEW CHURCHES.

University Church of Christ and Kairos Church Planting invite you to pray for and participate in Church Planting Sunday on May 21, 2023.

We are all witnessing the decline of Christianity in America. You can help reverse this trend and fulfill God's mission to spread Good News through helping start new churches in your neighborhood and across the country.

STORIES FROM ONE CHURCH PLANT

People at The Feast Church in Providence, RI have been sharing their stories lately of how God interrupted their lives.

Joe used to suffer through mass to get to macaroni and meatballs lunch afterwards. He went down a dark path in his life when he saw himself as the WORST person around. He gave up religion and church. Until God convicted him with grace and showed him forgiveness.

Carolyn had a successful career in city government. She was living a life of faith, but was not at ease until she encountered The Feast and immediately knew she was at HOME. She followed God's call to retire from her career and start serving as a minister at The Feast.

Ray's marriage was in ruins, his business floundering, and his addictions out of control. He knew something needed to change. He found help at AA, but found eternal answers through the faith of people in the church where AA met. Again and again, God has proven his faithfulness and generosity, even on Ray's worst days.

Every person at The Feast has a story of how God has been leading them. So does every person at Water's Edge Church of Christ in NH, at Missio Church in WA, and at many other new churches both in and out of the Kairos network. New churches are beautiful places for people to reach out and find God only to discover he has never been far from them at all.

Who do you want to see reconciled to God through Christ? Is there a church near them where they can grow in Him? If not, what can you do to make it happen?
